As a native of the mountains, cliffs, and beaches of California, exploring my homestate to tell love stories feels like living a dream I never knew I had. When I was young, I loved snapping photos and digging through old family albums. My path didn’t lead straight to photography, though. In fact, I actually worked as a chemist for a little while! But there was always something captivating to me about the idea of fleeting moments frozen in time. Genuine connection and generous spirits are what light me up (I know, I know...I’m a total enneagram two). So, I eventually took the leap and said so long to chemistry of one kind to start chasing another kind. The chemistry between a couple in love. Was I scared? Um...I was terrified! But something I’ve learned over the last few years is that anything worth doing should scare you at least a little. So, today, in my trademark “Liz means business” ponytail, I document small weddings and elopements in my captivating style. Helping couples find unique ways to tell their stories is such a fun challenge. And sure, sometimes we get a little muddy along the way! But the dirt just adds character, right? It’s proof that we really lived every moment to the fullest. When I’m not kickin’ it with couples or editing away on my latest gallery, you can probably catch me planning a spontaneous trip with friends, hosting an impromptu dinner with a new recipe I just discovered, or having a tickle fest with my kids while a She & Him album plays in the background. We love to try new things, laugh ‘til we cry, and enjoy every moment of life together. And that’s the vibe I hope to bring as your wedding or elopement photographer: the simple joy that comes from being fully alive. So, let’s think outside the box, go on an adventure, and tell your story!
